The system is designed to facilitate BSC methodology and ensure its entrenchment within the ordganization. The software package allows for entry, storage and modification of all the basic BSC information; including cards, objectives, measures and tasks as well as providing facilities for attaching more complex data structures like task results, issues and root cause analysis. Moreover, the package allows for some basic automation routines such as e-mail and sms (sms facility must be provided by client organization) notifications of new entries and modifications of basic BSC information. Also, notifications will be dispatched to the users when the new tasks are created and assigned to these users, and when the tasks are overdue to notify the relevant managers of the potential problems. Business Performance System is written as a web based application and thus no additional software needs to be loaded on the users' computers. Furthermore if the option is taken by the client, the software can be accessed via the Internet providing the facility of world wide accessibility. In the case of local, client-based network installations, the system will be accessible via a local Intranet. At the current moment the following internet browser requirements exist: - Internet Explorer v5.5+; - Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox v0.9+ Internet Browser; - Opera 7.3+ Internet Browser; - Netscape v6+ Internet Browser; - And other Internet Browsers supporting HTML v4.01 and JavaScript v1.2. Although future releases may support a much wider variety of internet browsers. When implementing a client based solution a dedicated server must be provided, NAVA Traders & Services can supply you with competitive quotes if required; that will be reloaded with Linux operating system. This dedicated server will be supported by NAVA Traders & Services, regardless of whether it was purchased from us; with all the software issues, hardware problems should be addressed by the hardware supplier. Software is priced on a license basis - single license allows to create and maintain throughout one year a single balanced card with all the underlying information (objectives, measures, tasks and etc.) Amount of information that can be attached to a single card is unlimited. The demo is designed to only present the core functionality of the system; no data entry or modification is allowed.
